  • Cacao arrives in solid paste form.

To enjoy your cup of ceremonial cacao chop the block with a sharp knife.

If using a blender you can roughly chop cacao, adding between 20-30 grams to the blender with hot (not boiled) water, any other desired ingredients and blend for a smooth and frothy drink.

If preparing without a blender, chop the cacao, add 2-3 tablespoons to your cup and add a dash of hot (not boiling) water to melt together into a soft paste before adding the rest of the water and other ingredients.

Add less water for a thicker cacao.

These instructions are also found on the packaging of our Cacao.
